iOS 9 Review
Expected to be unveiled at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June, iOS 9 will come packed with a number of “under-the-hood” improvements, according to 9to5Mac, which cited info from anonymous sources.
It’s not just Apple’s hardware that makes the iPad and iPhone range so desirable, but also its super-smooth and efficient operating system, iOS. If Apple wants to stay on top, it has to continue to develop and improve its software. With iOS 8 Apple introduced a raft of new features that made its products work better, but where can it go next? That’s what we’ll try and answer here as we pull together all of the latest iOS 9 rumours.

Apple tends to release a new version of iOS with brand-new hardware. Typically, that means a new iPhone. Given that we’re expecting the iPhone 6S later this year, we can expect to see iOS 9 at the same time, which is to say September. At least, that’s when the operating system will be finished. Fortunately, Apple’s a lot less secretive with its operating systems then it is with its hardware and we’re likely to see iOS 9 sooner rather than later.
Apple likes to unveil the new features of its mobile operating system at its WWDC conference, before releasing a beta version of it. This year, WWDC starts on the 8th June 2015, so we should get our first look at iOS 9 then, with the beta following shortly afterwards.
